What do you believe about yourself?
Can you identify your strengths and weaknesses, your values and your worth?
Do you accept yourself or judge yourself?
Are you living the life you want or feel you deserve?
To answer these questions sincerely, it takes time and reflection. To step our of the pure emotion of your personality to look at yourself objectively and to perhaps acknowledge things about yourself that you do not wish to see or to congratulate yourself where usually you only have room for scorn and recrimination.
Reflection is necessary if you are to start to recognise your essence in its' true light.
Acceptance of what you discover allows you to then stand in the light of who you are rather than the shadow of an illusion you carry with you.
What illusions do you have about yourself?
We are complex beings with the ability to create and live an illusion. An illusion used to make our lives easier, simpler or more palpable.
How do you cope in your daily life?
How do you see your value in your life?
How do those around you communicate with you and support you?
Does life flow easily or is there always tension and struggle?
Give yourself the gift of understanding your illusions. Sit in reflection and take the time to ask these questions of yourself. Write down the answers in your journal so that you can absorb the information and then take action to change that which is not flowing in your life.
We are here to live in joy to the fullest of our potential.
Ae you living your potential?
Are you even striving to live your potential, your purpose - or are you simply a passenger? Carried along without control, direction or thought.
