Many of us throughout our lives will experience a profound loss, often a financial loss which has the potential to create chaos, struggle, anger, guilt and complete loss of confidence.
Financial loss occurs through many different guises - having an investment or business fail with a resultant loss of capital, having family or friends asking for money and it being given repeatedly until nothing is left, being deceived or trusting others to invest funds on your behalf and finding that the investment was not sound, resulting in loss.
When financial loss occurs it can be completely devastating and affect every aspect of a person's life.
It can bring a person to their knee's emotionally, financially and socially and it is at this point that we as individuals decide whether we will remain victims of the disaster - it happened to me - or seek to find our inner strength. To then deploy it, build upon it and develop a solid foundation holistically so as not to repeat it again. Often we repeat our patterns and we continue to do so until we change our self perspective.
We use money as a reflection of our own self worth therefore experiencing a financial loss is simply a mirror of our own self belief system and perceptions. If you do not believe you can be wealthy, you will not be. Firstly you have to believe it is possible.
I have clients who are brilliant at making money, at creating wealth, yet they do not believe that they are capable of managing it and entrust it to other to invest on their behalf. At times those investments fail catastrophically. Unless that pattern is broken through changing the inner belief system, unless they believe that they are capable of managing their own funds, this circumstance has the potential tope repeated.
When things go wrong, we need to ask ourselves - "what have I learned from this disaster". "where is my inner DIS-ease to have created this loss" and "what steps can I take to change this".
And then it about working on all levels - of getting to know ourselves, understanding WHY the loss occurred, choosing not to be a victim, connecting to and mobilising inner strength and then building WITHOUT loss..
We all have choices - to remain a victim and to be helpless - never to rebuild, or to decide that we will not be destroyed and to look within. To search for answers, to understand how we feel about ourselves, why we feel this way and how we use financial loss to confirm what we think about ourselves - which is that we are not worthy or have value because we are financial devastated. A dramatic way to confirm the value we allocate to ourselves.
A client who has been on this inner voyage of change reflected and crystallised their experience;
I lost my foundation.
I didn't know who I was.
I didn't know what I was going to do.
It was a disaster, but from it came my best gift.
I found me.
We work with clients at a life level, not just a financial level to resolve their inner DIS-ease and assist them to rebuild so as to NOT repeat financial loss.
Fundamentally, SELF WORTH is one of our GREATEST ASSET.
