Why meditate?
What purpose does it have? Let me share a tiny part of my journey with you for it may give you a small insight into the power of meditation. I started my meditative journey some 12 year ago when I was physically and mentally exhausted. Everything was twirling around as I cared for everyone the best I could - well everyone except for myself of course! Does this sound familiar in any respect? At this time I was also working on a new business collaboration and my partner suggested I speak with Helen. His teacher and mentor. Through her guidance, I came to see how close to collapse I had become and when it was suggested that I meditate, I thought little of it as a tool for well-being and decided to try it as there was certainly nothing to lose. Giving it a go, I started with 5 minutes and now 2 hours can float by in a second if I choose to go into a deep meditative state. I followed a meditation led by Helen - it was the start of an amazing inner voyage that I continue to navigate to this day. I learned to protect myself appropriately and followed the protocols as instructed by Spirit. In my meditations I heard answers to my questions and was guided when lost. I found courage when I believed I had none and let go of fear, worry and anxiety to claim my life for me. I found warmth, divine peace and calm. When I was drowning emotionally I was able to use meditation to step out of the emotion to gain control once again. When my mind was muddled and frenetic, I asked for clarity and it came. I cannot overstate the health and mental well-being that is derived from meditation and I encourage you to launch your inner voyage. Navigating such a journey to self is a profound delight. I suggest initially to use a guided meditation so that you can follow the process easily - there are so many to chose from. Over time you will know the meditations that work for you.

I always meditate when I'm stressed out. Meditation is an important aspect of healing. With meditation, you can heal off your mental and physical problems. It's also a great way to relieve your emotional stress. This is why I recommend meditation to all of the people who are over working themselves.
