Do you ever find yourself dreaming of what you would like in your life and how you would like you life to be?
When I ask my clients to define and clarify their wants and desires for their lives, it often takes quite a while to bring them into focus. When their desires appear to be outside that which they believe they can achieve, they say to me, " I hope to achieve this". They cocoon their desires in hope. They do not fundamentally believe that they are worthy or capable of achieving all that they desire for their lives.
What you believe, your subconscious allows you to experience.
When you change your perspective from one of HOPING to one of EXPECTING, your energy shifts and changes to then start to work with you to manifest that which you want to receive or experience or have in your life.
I often hear people say they "hope" to win the lottery and I ask them if they truly believe they are a person who could win the lottery, and they look at me quizzically because they have never asked themselves that question.
Mostly I find, people sit in hope, never truly believing they would be "lucky" enough to win.
It has not much to do with luck. It has to do with what you believe about yourself and what you believe you can achieve - Standing in knowing, being focussed and holding no doubt or uncertainty.
When you expect to achieve something, you open the door to the opportunity of manifesting it instead of hoping to be given it at some point in time. That is the difference.
Use this as a mantra - "what I believe, I can experience and achieve - I believe that I am successful with abundance on all levels of my being - in health, money, relationships and spirituality".
