Have you ever been involved in something that you co-ordinated which has not gone to plan due to factors completely outside of your control? Such as an investment, property deal, business partnership, event...
Whatever has occurred that you blame yourself for and that others blame you for - by assuming total responsibility for what went wrong, by allowing others to heap blame upon you and by you accepting it - it helps no-one.
When you enter an arrangement or agreement in good faith and circumstances outside of your control occur that causes a loss in some manner, then you did nothing wrong and punishing yourself serves no purpose. You are suffering for no reason.
To allow and accept blame from others so that they do not take responsibility for their own decisions and actions, you are fundamentally interfering with their journeys and their lessons. Lessons that they are meant to learn from the experience and as such, you attract the karma for this interference.
How much can you take?
Guilt, shame and blame are a prison for self punishment. They shorten your life, make you miserable and small.
It is when you realise and accept that you simply played a role so that all could learn their lessons, you can start to release the self blame and commence the process of rebuilding. Rebuilding and creating a new foundation either financially or emotionally or both.
Taking small steps to change your self perceptions and self believe - to release the negative and claim your life in happiness and joy - they are not as hard to take as you imagine.
Take one small step towards meditation. To commence releasing the guilt, ripping it from you like a weed from the ground.
