BUILDING A BRIDGE TO JOY

Through my personal journey I have learned some fundamental facts that I draw upon to help me when I falter, or fall into fear or self doubt.  It has taken many years to gather these learnings and I would like to share them over time with you on your journey to joy. 
  • Firstly, what you put your attention to grows and becomes permanent in your life.  It is therefore a good idea to move away from the negative and place attention on what you really what to be or to have in your life. If you concentrate on Lack, what you don't have, then that is what you will create more of.   
  • ​Make positive statements about how you want your life to be and always say  it in the present tense of "I am" or  "I have".....  
  • Be willing to change and release any old negative beliefs.
  • Thoughts have no power over you unless you give them meaning.  Part of self acceptance is releasing other people's options.
  • No person, no place and no thing has ANY power over you for we are the only thinkers in our mind.  We create our experiences, our reality and everyone in it.  When we create peace and harmony in our mind, we will find it in our lives.
  • When you decide to stop giving your power away to others and reclaim it for yourself, then your life can change.  

The following is a great mantra to say every day until you create the change you are seeking....

"I claim the right and the will to take charge of my emotional energy now.
 
I do not give away my power to people, to words or to the opinions of others anymore.
 
I laugh at words. They only have power if I give them power.  

As I internally create a pattern of self worth, then I no longer have the need to delay my good.
I am now taking my own power back and release this old idea and let it go".


When you say this you stop being a victim.  You are no longer helpless.  

Remember always that you are in this life to live it in joy, to have a great time and to live it to the best of your ability using the gifts, skills and personality you have created. You are not here to be miserable, to struggle or to be at the mercy of others.  

I leave you with these thoughts and hope they resonate with you.
